The Commons, located in Minneapolis, is the headquarters of Allina Health, a not-for-profit health care organization serving patients and communities. Approximately 1,600 corporate and administrative service employees work at offices within Midtown Exchange, the site of the historic Sears retail complex at Chicago Avenue and E. Lake Street. This community landmark, adjacent to the campus of Abbott Northwestern Hospital, part of Allina Health, is the second largest building in Minnesota and includes offices, an internationally themed public market and residential units.

Responsibilities

  • The manager of revenue cycle management provides leadership for specific/specialized areas within the broader revenue cycle
  • The revenue cycle manager will develop strategies to improve the collection and customer contact processes, assist in implementing process improvements, monitor and report on status to key stakeholders, and develop and implement the integrated policies and procedures for revenue cycle
  • This position is responsible for reviewing and analyzing system reports to achieve departmental goals, objectives and meet service level agreements with each hospital or clinic
  • This also includes setting the overall expectations for quality of work, professional conduct, and customer service
  • This position requires experience relating to implementing improvements within a hospital/clinic or health systems revenue cycle
  • The manager will be expected to provide leadership to identify, quantify, implement and measure specific improvement initiatives

Education

  • BA/BS in health care related field or business management or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years previous leadership experience with 3-5 years experience with computerized hospital clinical and financial systems

Work Schedule

  • Mon - Thursday 8:00 - 5:00 Core Hours. Friday 7:30 to 4:00
  • Staffing from 7:30 to 6:00 so some flexibility
  • Benefit Eligible
  • Non-contract
  • Exempt level position
