  • The Phlebotomy/EKG tech provides blood collection for lab analysis and 12 lead cardiogram acquisitions for in-patients of all ages
  • Promotes cohesiveness and peer support among unit staff and health care team
  • Demonstrate awareness of information relating to health and safety at work and perform safely at all time

Education

  • High school graduate, post secondary education in a healthcare related program preferred

Qualification/Skills

Experience

  • Phlebotomy training
  • Current phlebotomy and EKG training preferred

  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Venipuncture and capillary blood collection
  • Cardiograms

Licensure/Certifications

  • Phlebotomy certification preferred

Work Schedule

  • Work schedule is working nights, shift time 9:00pm - 5:30am
  • Every other weekend and holiday
  • License/certificate preferred
  • L113 Contract

The city of Coon Rapids is a fast growing community on the Mississippi River just 20 minutes north of Minneapolis-St. Paul, and the metropolitan area gateway to the northern part of the state. Coon Rapids offers excellent access to highways, dynamic community shopping centers with major retail anchors, and a wide variety of recreational activities including neighborhood and regional parks, a municipal golf course, indoor ice arenas, hiking and biking trails and swimming pools.
