The Commons, located in Minneapolis, is the headquarters of Allina Health, a not-for-profit health care organization serving patients and communities. Approximately 1,600 corporate and administrative service employees work at offices within Midtown Exchange, the site of the historic Sears retail complex at Chicago Avenue and E. Lake Street. This community landmark, adjacent to the campus of Abbott Northwestern Hospital, part of Allina Health, is the second largest building in Minnesota and includes offices, an internationally themed public market and residential units.

Core Responsibilities
  • Translate strategic objectives into operational project plans
  • Work closely with senior leaders and across multiple levels of management of Allina Health System to set and operationalize against strategic objectives
  • Work with your peers within AIS to collaborate where appropriate/possible
  • Manage multiple high level projects simultaneously
  • Serve as Program Manager/Project Lead managing and implementing process improvement programs
To Do This You Will Need To Be Comfortable With
  • Coaching and presenting to Senior Executives
  • Managing and providing vendor oversite
  • Creating stakeholder engagement and communication
  • Facilitating and leading cross functional team meetings offering guidance and solutions
  • Ensuring adherence across all processes, to Compliance requirements for applicable departments on the identification and development of operational quality improvements.
  • Developing and managing cross functional relationships
  • Develop, document and implement project plans
  • Being accountable for overall project activities including the master project plan
  • Communicating project status along with risks, successes and mitigation plan

Education

BA/BS preferred in computer science, information technology business related field or equivalent.

Qualification/Skills

Preferred Experience/Skills In:
  • Performance improvement tools (LEAN, Six Sigma, Agile, Baldrige, Allina Management System)
  • Change Management (PROSI, Servant Leadership)
  • Organizational Psychology and cultural change
  • Large scale organizational change
You MUST have:
  • High comfort level with ambiguity and leading teams through the process of getting to tangible deliverables
  • Strong skill set in conflict resolution at an executive level
  • The ability to navigate organizational politics
  • Experience in driving teams who are culturally resistant to change
