The Commons, located in Minneapolis, is the headquarters of Allina Health, a not-for-profit health care organization serving patients and communities. Approximately 1,600 corporate and administrative service employees work at offices within Midtown Exchange, the site of the historic Sears retail complex at Chicago Avenue and E. Lake Street. This community landmark, adjacent to the campus of Abbott Northwestern Hospital, part of Allina Health, is the second largest building in Minnesota and includes offices, an internationally themed public market and residential units.

The Digital Marketing Manager role is responsible for collaborating on and driving the strategy for all online platforms and accelerate growth by finding and converting new customers quickly, efficiently, and scale-ably. You will define a strategic plan to hit acquisition targets, manage daily execution across acquisition channels, drive a capabilities roadmap, and collaborate closely across marketing, finance, and other functions to meet your objectives. The Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for the maintenance and growth of the brand by building our online channels; websites, digital campaigns, social, e-newsletters and mobile app. They will ensure brand growth with a mix of hands-on, team and partner execution of all website and digital marketing efforts.

  • Lead vision, strategy, and results for all paid acquisition marketing channels that drive incremental new customers.
  • Develop and oversee effective SEO/SEM and content marketing strategies to help connect our customers and prospective customers to meaningful product and marketing experiences
  • Identify target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
  • Define and drive paid media KPIs, analytical systems/frameworks, and processes in collaboration with marketing, balancing growth trajectory and profitability.
  • Set and deliver marketing efficiency targets on monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Partners with leadership teams and marketing strategy team members/leaders
  • to help drive strategy and growth through effective digital marketing strategies
  • Work with internal stakeholders to ensure cross-departmental success
  • Collaborate with partners and optimize user experience
  • Collaborates with outreach teams to develop stronger lead tracking and reporting communication
  • Measure and report performance of all digital marketing and social media campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
  • Produce and communicate weekly/monthly report to internal stakeholders
  • Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights
  • Collaborate with the marketing and digital team and other cross-functional roles to continually optimize driving traffic, leads and conversions.
  • Prioritizes digital marketing, process, tactics and strategies of team based on alignment with larger organizational strategy and/or impact to local or system wide.
  • Coordinates assignments and manages performance of the digital marketing team members
  • Manage production schedules and workload of internal team and outside vendors/agencies
  • Accountable for the allocation of financial resources and/or management of a budget for one or more cost centers

Education

  • Required - Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or health care related field

Qualification/Skills

  • 5+ years’ experience driving digital marketing strategies
  • 5+ years’ experience managing people – direct reports or otherwise, handling difficult situations and leading change.
  • Working knowledge of developing and executing marketing plans and programs across multiple platforms
  • Successful implementation of SEO/SEM, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns
  • Proven track record in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
  • Experience in optimizing website, microsites and landing pages and user funnels
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
  • Full knowledge of MS Office required including Excel, PowerPoint, Word
  • Strong communication, research, presentation and creative skills
