The Commons, located in Minneapolis, is the headquarters of Allina Health, a not-for-profit health care organization serving patients and communities. Approximately 1,600 corporate and administrative service employees work at offices within Midtown Exchange, the site of the historic Sears retail complex at Chicago Avenue and E. Lake Street. This community landmark, adjacent to the campus of Abbott Northwestern Hospital, part of Allina Health, is the second largest building in Minnesota and includes offices, an internationally themed public market and residential units.

 

Responsibilities

The Manager of Quality is responsible for the design, development, implementation and management of revenue cycle quality programs to support organizational needs. This position will drive program success of the quality programs by building relationships with revenue cycle leaders to proactively utilize quality performance data to drive continuous improvement efforts.
  • Manages the relationship between the quality department and revenue cycle leaders
  • Meets with leaders on regular intervals to review programs and address opportunities and enhancements
  • Analyzes trends in organizational and individual performance data and uses information to recommend adjustments/refinement of training programs as needed.
  • Reviews all quality assurance/training activities through weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports
  • Recognizes training opportunities and actively participates in improvement plans; works with internal and external resources to successfully implement enhancements, updated operational workflows and new products
  • Stays current with quality and revenue cycle best practices. Actively participates in local and national organizations or groups that focus on best practices

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Management, Business Management or related field
  • Five (5) years quality management/engineering

  • Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proven strong customer service orientation
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex, cross-functional efforts
  • Excellent organization skills, ability to prioritize demands to complete multiple objects
  • Expertise with quality management programs
