The Commons, located in Minneapolis, is the headquarters of Allina Health, a not-for-profit health care organization serving patients and communities. Approximately 1,600 corporate and administrative service employees work at offices within Midtown Exchange, the site of the historic Sears retail complex at Chicago Avenue and E. Lake Street. This community landmark, adjacent to the campus of Abbott Northwestern Hospital, part of Allina Health, is the second largest building in Minnesota and includes offices, an internationally themed public market and residential units.

Position Purpose
As a member of the TA Leadership team, this position is accountable for the programs that enable our talent acquisition function to operate effectively. Areas of responsibilities include employment branding, social media strategies, vendor management, ownership of overall compliant talent acquisition process and the system functionality associated with our applicant tracking tool. In addition, this position will have responsibility to ensure all TA team members, HR partners and Managers have the training and tools available to effectively and efficiently manage the process.

Talent Acquisition Process Development, Deployment and Optimization:
  • Develops and deploys a standardized talent acquisition process across the system
  • Develops and deploys the Allina Employment Brand and Social Media strategy in partnership with Marketing & Communications showcasing that Allina is an employer of choice in the markets in which we operate
  • Brings focus to and develops job fair and outreach strategies aligned to the talent priorities of the organization
  • Accountable for the content and user experience with the Allina careers page and other vendor pages that showcase our brand
  • Leads the centralization and management of all Talent Acquisition vendors to ensure teams are leveraging full services, strong ROI and partnerships along with ability to deliver services connected to business needs
  • Leads the optimization of the TA process related to both business and system processes
  • Develops and delivers TA metrics aligned to industry best practices
  • Develop and manage budget in accordance with business requirements

People Leadership:
  • Provide leadership and day-to-day direction to team
  • Provide structure and deliverables that are clear to understand and drive desired outcomes and services
  • Coaching and developing of team members

Relationship Management
  • Build relationships with key external partners to assure that our outreach is inclusive and our talent pipelines are rich and diverse.
  • Build relationships with key internal partners to ensure programs are designed and implemented with the employee experience at the forefront of the work (eg. HRBPs, COEs, HRSS, business leaders)

Education

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • PHR, SPHR, and/or LinkedIn Certified Recruiter certification preferred

Qualification/Skills

  • 3+ years of people management experience
  • 5+ years of full life cycle talent acquisition experience
  • Program management experience in designing and/or optimizing TA processes
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Tools and training
  • Experience with social media strategies and employment branding
  • Experience with vendor partnerships and contract management
  • Expert knowledge in full life-cycle recruitment, including thorough pre-qualification screening, interviewing and closing professional level candidates across multiple levels and disciplines
  • Experience in building or improving TA processes and capabilities
  • Experience leveraging tools, i.e. applicant tracking systems with demonstrated knowledge of creative and effective candidate sourcing methods is required
  • Strong customer relationship management skills and the ability to partner with leaders is required

Work Schedule

Monday - Friday with occasional travel to events.
