Responsibilities

  • Prepare, check and dispense medications and supplies
  • Compound extemporaneous products including packaging of medications in unit dose or unit of use packaging
  • Deliver medications and supplies to patient care areas
  • Perform monthly station checks, medication room outdate checks and organization
  • Check and restock nursing unit crash carts
  • Answer and/or appropriately triage incoming phone calls to various areas of the pharmacy department or pharmacists using proper phone etiquette
  • Assist in inventory control
  • Assist with obtaining medication histories from patients throughout the hospital.

Education

  • Enrolled in an accredited School of Pharmacy working toward a Pharm.D. in Pharmacy degree
  • For this position prefer P1 (graduation dates of 2022)

  • Previous pharmacy experience preferred

Work Schedule

  • 1-3 shifts every 2 weeks
  • Every 4th-5th weekend
  • Other project shifts as available
