Responsibilities

  • Communicates regulatory goals, principles and processes to quality committees, operational and medical staff leaders
  • Ability to influence others to effect change in activities related to regulatory accreditation and reporting
  • Possesses knowledge and ability to interpret data and make recommendations for clinical quality processes and strategic goals
  • Ability to synthesize many data elements into meaningful information
  • Demonstrates fluency in the language of regulatory accreditation and peer review
  • Proactively partners with quality and business operations leaders to develop and implement new and innovative approaches to regulatory vulnerabilities
  • Partner with Allina colleagues to lead regulatory and clinical quality initiatives across the organization.
  • Lead projects to timely completion
  • Work with clinical quality and others on clear action plans with results-oriented goals for measuring success
  • Uses knowledge of regulatory metrics and reporting to help facilitate decision-making
  • Understands data elements necessary to identify, support, or negate regulatory concerns.
  • Develops tool and/or techniques to assess regulatory compliance

Education

  • BA/BS required in health care or health informatics'

Qualification/Skills

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in healthcare/medical field required
  • Health care reporting experience preferred
  • Regulatory/accreditation experience strongly encouraged.
  • Behavioral Health / Surgical Knowledge a plus
  • SharePoint Familiarity preferred
  • Strong computer skills needed

Work Schedule

  • Mainly days, M-F with some flexibility. Occasional weekend as needed to ensure areas are compliant.
