  • Provides pastoral care to patients and their families, including spiritual assessment, sacramental ministry, bereavement assessment and support, bio-ethics or health care decision making support, consultation with staff, and connection with religious community. Works effectively as part of the treatment team. Develops and implements spiritual assessment, including in crisis and bereavement situations. Consults with physicians and hospital staff regarding spiritual assessment and bio-ethical issues related to patient care.

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree required. Masters of Divinity or equivalent preferred. Ordination preferred.

Qualification/Skills

Pastoral experience preferred; completion of one (1) unit of ACPE-accredited Clinical Pastoral Education

Work Schedule

  • 40 hours a week
